How to view hidden files on cPanel?

As standard, certain files types are hidden on cPanel such as dot files like the htaccess file. In order to view hidden files on cPanel, follow these steps:

  1. Login to cPanel and navigate to the Files section.
  2. Click on File Manager.
  3. Click on the Settings option on the top right-hand corner of the screen.
  4. Click on the checkbox of the Show Hidden Files (dotfiles) option.
  5. Click Save.

You will not be able to see all of the hidden files on cPanel and File Manager.
