How to increase Upload Max Filesize on cPanel?

You may come across errors when trying to upload scripts, applications and files on cPanel and this is likely down to the upload_max_filesize limits. New cPanel accounts have set default limits and in most cases, you will need to increase these in order to upload files.

To increase upload max filesize limits on cPanel, simply follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your cPanel account and navigate to the Software section.
  2. Click on the Select PHP Version option.
  3. Click on the Options tab from the top menu and scroll down to upload_max_filesize and change the value.

That’s It! This will automatically save and you have successfully increased the upload max filesize limits on your cPanel account and you should no longer see error messages when uploading files.
