How to add an addon domain in cPanel?

An addon domain in cPanel is where you can add a new domain name for an additional website to use on your account. Follow this simple guide to get started.

Step 1 – Log in to cPanel

Log in to your cPanel account either through your Hosteology client account or by visiting yourdomain.com/cpanel.

Step 2 – Navigate to the Domains section

When logged in to cPanel, navigate to the Domains section and click on Addon Domains.

Step 3 – Add your domain information

Under the Create an Addon Domain section, enter your new website URL. A subdomain will automatically be set up. You can also set up a separate FTP account for your new domain name by checking the Create an FTP account associated with this Addon Domain option and choose an FTP username and password.

Finally, click the Add Domain button to complete the addon domain setup.
