How to deactivate WordPress Plugins via WordPress Toolkit?

If you need to deactivate WordPress plugins, maybe due to an error such as a conflict, meaning you are unable to log into your WordPress admin area, this can be done via WordPress Toolkit on your cPanel account.

Please note, this guide presumes you have already added your WordPress installation to WordPress Toolkit.

In order to deactivate WordPress plugins via WordPress Toolkit, simply follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your cPanel account and navigate to the Applications section.
  2. Click on the WordPress Toolkit option.
  3. Here you will see a list of all of your WordPress installations. Click on the website you want to manage.
  4. Under the site title, click on the Plugins tab from the menu.
  5. Now you are presented with a list of all the installed plugins and from here you can activate or deactivate your plugins as required.

That’s it! You can repeat these steps to manage your plugins at any time through WordPress Toolkit on your cPanel account.
