Sometimes you may not have access to your WordPress admin area. This could be due to errors caused by conflicting WordPress plugins and you need another way to deactivate these plugins in order to work out what is causing the problems.
This can be done via File Manager on cPanel and in order to do this, simply follow these steps:
- Log in to your cPanel account and navigate to the Files section.
- Click on the File Manager option.
- Navigate to your websites root folder and enter the /wp-content folder.
- Select the /plugins folder and rename it to anything you like such as plugins.test
That’s it! All of your plugins are now disabled.
