How do I update WordPress plugins?

WordPress plugins are great for adding new and extra functionality to your website, however, you should make sure they are always up to date. This means they will be the most secure they can be and any additional features will also be applied to your website.

To update WordPress plugins, you first need to log in to your WordPress admin area and navigate to Plugins>Installed Plugins.

Here you will see a list of all of your currently installed plugins. If there are any that need updating, you will see an update notice beneath the plugin. Simply click update now at the end of the notice and the plugin will automatically update to the latest version.

Please note that premium plugins may have their own update processes so check with the plugin developer if necessary.
