Does WHMCS support PHP 8?

At the moment, WHMCS does not support PHP 8. This is due to IonCube being incompatible with PHP 8. WHMCS themselves have stated that they have most of the work on their side completed to be compatible, however, the major roadblock is currently IonCube.

We, therefore, recommend using PHP 7.4 if you are using WHMCS as your billing software.
